“I don't see them as mutually exclusive, meaning we can do premium products and make them more affordable at the same time. So our objective is to become a global number-one brand and for that, we have to cater to a very broad range of consumers. However, our strategy is always the same; How do we deliver the best value? The best picture quality? The best performance? The best product quality?,” stated David Gold, President of Hisense USA when asked by ShanghaiEye’s reporter on what motivated Hisense to focus on both high-end and more affordable TV series at the same time.
