“It’s nice to see that after COVID and other issues. More Chinese companies come from China. Some of them are focused on manufacturing but others have some innovative products. Then there are the major Chinese brands like Hisense, Haier, and Lenovo, and others. This is a big Global event,” stated by Gary Shapiro, President of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). “Actually I don't see them as mutually exclusive, meaning we can do premium products and make them more affordable at the same time. So our objective is to become a global number one brand and for that we have to cater to a very broad range of consumers. However, our strategy is always the same; How do we deliver the best value? The best picture quality? The best performance? The best product quality?,” stated by David Gold, President of Hisense USA when asked by ShanghaiEye’s reporter on what motivated Hisense to focus on both high-end and more affordable TV series at the same time.
Gold emphasizes the company's dual focus on producing premium yet affordable products. He highlights their commitment to delivering value, superior picture quality, performance, and product quality. The overarching goal is to establish Hisense as a global number one brand by catering to a diverse consumer base.
